Changes to Athletic Schedule – October 16
Due to today’s rain, Girls Varsity Soccer and Boys Varsity Soccer will play a doubleheader at the Columbia Turf Field, Boys JV Soccer has been moved to Monday at Averill Park and Girls Tennis is canceled.

Due to widespread power outages at multiple schools and residential areas of our school district, the East Greenbush Central School District will be closed on Thursday, October 8. There will be no in-person or remote learning today. All after school activities and BOCES are also canceled.
In accordance with NYS Department of Health guidance, Suburban Council schools will be limiting spectators to no more than two spectators per student athlete. All spectators at events must have a Suburban Council spectator badge to attend.
The East Greenbush Central School District will not be offering Modified sports this fall due to limited student interest and limited school participation from other Suburban Council schools. As of this morning, there were not enough Goff Middle School students signed up for Modified sports to field teams. Additionally, only a few Suburban Council schools committed to playing Modified sports, which would not allow for a schedule of games.
The East Greenbush Central School District hosted a Fall Sports Information Meeting on Monday, September 21 to discuss state guidelines for interscholastic sports and answer questions from parents.
The 26th annual Columbia Basketball Golf Scramble Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2020. Tournament proceeds will benefit the Columbia Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Programs and the Bob Smith & Ted Romanowski Memorial Scholarships.
