East Greenbush Central School District residents approved all three propositions on this year’s Budget Vote and Board Election ballot earlier today, including a $104,840,470 budget for the 2022-23 school year, the purchase of eight school buses from the Bus Purchase Reserve Fund and the establishment of a new Capital Reserve Fund.
Residents of the East Greenbush Central School District will vote on the proposed school budget for 2022-23 on Tuesday, May 17. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The proposed school budget maintains all programs and services with no tax increase for the second year in a row.

Children’s book author and illustrator David Biedrzycki visited Green Meadow Elementary School on Friday to discuss the writing process with students. Mr. Biedrzycki has published 32 books including “SumoKitty,” which he read to students during an engaging presentation.
