Green Meadow Elementary School hosted author and illustrator Meghan McCarthy on May 23 to discuss books, writing, drawing and the publishing process.
With a hammer in one hand and a nail in the other, Green Meadow 4th grade students got to work on Wednesday morning building wooden toolboxes. The students also used screwdrivers and power drills, all under the guidance of local contractors and their teachers.
Howard L. Goff Middle School hosted a 6th Grade Orientation last month for parents and guardians of current 5th grade students. School administrators provided parents with pertinent information about middle school expectations, academic programs, scheduling and extracurricular activities.
Green Meadow Field Day is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11 for grades 1-5 and Friday, June 14 for kindergarten. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend this fun event. You do NOT need to sign in; please go directly to the outside field.
