Students in the East Greenbush Central School District who took the NYS Grades 3-8 Exams last spring scored 67% proficient in English Language Arts (1st in Capital Region) and 74% proficient in Mathematics (2nd in Capital Region), according to data shared at the public Board of Education meeting on Wednesday evening.
The East Greenbush CSD will have a half day for all students in grades PK-12 on Friday, February 9 due to parent conferences.
The East Greenbush Central School District is now accepting applications for its 2024-25 Pre-K Program for eligible four-year-old children.
Students celebrated winter at the District-wide Choral Festival on Thursday morning with a set list devoted to the season. Each school’s chorus performed in the Columbia High School auditorium under the direction of their music teacher with songs such as “Winter Fantasy,” “Snow Day,” and “Winter With You.”
School cafeterias will be serving Burgers, Chicken Tenders, Pasta with Meatballs, Pizza, Paninis, Salads and more in the month of February!
