Coronavirus Update: Schools Remain Closed Through April 29, June Regents Exams Canceled

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced today that all public schools in New York State will remain closed through April 29 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Additionally, Board of Regents Chancellor Betty Rosa announced that the Regents Examinations scheduled for June 2020 will be canceled. No decision has been made regarding the August 2020 Regents Exams.

Coronavirus Update: New York Public Schools Closed Through April 1

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Monday that, starting Wednesday, March 18, all public schools will be closed through April 1. The East Greenbush Central School District is waiting to view the regulations from the NYS Education Department. Because of the impending school closure, parents should pickup any learning materials from school on Tuesday, March 17.
