Free meals are available to children and teens in need throughout Rensselaer County this summer. Each of the sites, which are listed on the Rensselaer County Department for Youth website, offer free meals to anyone 18 years old or under on a first come first serve basis.

Fifth grade students at Genet Elementary School walked across the stage for a final time on Wednesday morning as they received graduation certificates in front of their families. The celebratory event marked the end of elementary school as they move on to Howard L. Goff Middle School in September.
All of the fifth graders from around the East Greenbush Central School District gathered at Schodack Island State Park in Castleton on Tuesday for the 5th Grade Mixer.
