The East Greenbush Central School District is developing a new Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The proposed project, which was presented to the Board of Education at its public meeting on Wednesday evening, includes items such as adding air conditioning throughout all five elementary schools, classroom additions for Universal Pre-K, library renovations, new playgrounds, athletic field improvements, new tennis courts at Columbia High School, a pedestrian sidewalk from Columbia to Luther Road and infrastructure improvements.

Green Meadow students participated in the annual Apple Race on Thursday at the field behind school in front of cheering parents and family members. Immediately following the race, all students received an apple courtesy of the PTO.

Green Meadow’s annual Apple Race is scheduled for Thursday, October 19 at the field behind school. All parents and friends are welcome to attend this fun event. You do NOT need to sign in; please go directly to the outside field.

Green Meadow Elementary School hosted its 6th annual Color Run for students on Thursday afternoon at the field behind school. They wore sunglasses, smiles and white Color Run t-shirts that quickly became covered with splotches of pink, blue, green, orange, red, yellow and purple.
