Free Summer Meals for Kids in Rensselaer County
Free meals are available to children and teens in need throughout Rensselaer County this summer. Each of the sites offer free meals to anyone 18 years old or under on a first come first serve basis.

We are pleased to announce that the East Greenbush Central School District will be offering free breakfast and lunch in all school buildings starting in the 2024-25 school year.
PK-8 Half Day – Wednesday, June 26

There will be a half day for all students in grades PK-8 on Wednesday, June 26. This will be the last day of the school year.
East Greenbush CSD Announces Half Days for June 18 and 20 Due to Extreme Heat in Weather Forecast

In anticipation of extreme heat next week and its impact on health and safety in schools, the East Greenbush Central School District will have half days for grades PK-8 on Tuesday, June 18 and Thursday, June 20. Schools are closed on Wednesday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth and there is already a half day scheduled for Friday, June 21.
K-8 Half Day – Friday, June 14
