The East Greenbush school community started the holiday season by giving back to local charities and other worthy causes ahead of Thanksgiving. Thank you to all of the students, families and staff who supported these efforts!
On Friday, November 22, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised “consumers not eat and retailers not sell any romaine lettuce harvested from the Salinas, California growing region” due to an E. coli outbreak.

In honor of former DPS graduate Tommy O’Neil, students in Mrs. D’Amico’s 5th grade class painted #TommyRocks with Student Teacher Emily Velasquez. The students will be hiding the rocks in the community and asking people who find them to take pictures and then tag #TommyRocks on Facebook to spread some love.
