The East Greenbush Central School District has finished Phase 2 of its Capital Project that was approved by voters in 2017, and plans to complete the entire project by the start of next school year.

The East Greenbush CSD will return to traditional snow days this school year in the event of severe winter weather. If schools are delayed or closed, school staff and parents receive an email and text alert to notify them. Messages are also posted on the school district website (www.egcsd.org), social media and the local news.
The East Greenbush Central School District has been informed that 24 students and two employees have tested positive for COVID-19. In total, nine students have been placed in mandatory quarantine as a precaution.
The East Greenbush Central School District’s quarantine protocols for school buses has been updated as part of a pilot program between Rensselaer County and school districts within the county. Effective today, November 29, only unvaccinated students sitting in the same seat as a student who tests positive for COVID-19 will be quarantined as a precaution. All other students on the bus will not be considered close contacts and can continue attending school.
