Students from Howard L. Goff Middle School sent season’s greetings earlier this week when they made holiday cards for residents of Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in East Greenbush.
Columbia High School celebrated its November Students of the Month last week. Each student winner was nominated by a teacher or staff member for various categories such as Academics and Citizenship. Congratulations!

Three Columbia High School students enrolled in Participation in Government met with a state assemblymember’s staff last week to discuss their class project which is focused on the replacement of I-787 and transformation of the Albany waterfront.
Sixth and seventh grade students in Mrs. DiGiorgi’s and Ms. Ouimet’s E.L.A. classes joined together to spread some holiday cheer to veterans living in the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center’s community living center. The students made holiday cards wishing these men and women a happy holiday season and a happy new year!
