More than 30 staff members who are retiring from the East Greenbush Central School District this year were recognized for their service at this week’s public Board of Education meeting. The retirees represent all areas of the school district, including teachers, administrators, bus drivers, custodians, secretaries and other support personnel. Congratulations and best wishes!
Due to a lack of drivers, busing is not available for our new Elevate Summer School Program. However, busing will be provided from summer school to GCC, town camps and the Greenbush YMCA. If you have no access to transportation and your child will not be participating in one of the above summer camps, you can make a special request for busing and those requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis by the Transportation Department.
The East Greenbush Central School District has been informed that one student and one employee have tested positive for COVID-19.
The East Greenbush CSD Board of Education adopted the proposed school budget for 2021-22 at Wednesday’s public meeting. It will be voted on by district residents on Tuesday, May 18. The proposed budget totals $103,535,117 and includes a tax levy increase of 0.0%.
The East Greenbush Central School District has been informed that an employee from the Transportation Department has tested positive for COVID-19. There was no exposure at school related to this case. The employee’s last day at work was March 12.
