COVID-19 Updates and Information

Grades 3-5 will return for full time in-person learning starting Monday, April 26, which will fully reopen all elementary schools. The K-12 Full Remote program will still be available to families who choose that option. Due to state regulations, Columbia and Goff will remain in the Hybrid Model at this time. The East Greenbush CSD will continue to evaluate options for Columbia and Goff students to receive increased in-person learning at 6 feet social distancing where possible.

Spring 2021

A Spring 2021 driver education class will be offered through Columbia High School. The classroom portion of the course will be taught by Mr. Van der Wouden (a vocational teacher from out of district) virtually via a Google Meet. Due to COVID-19 precautions, the student’s parent/guardian will be responsible for teaching the in-car driving component for the duration of the course.

Registration for the Spring 2021 Driver Education class at Columbia High School opens starting Monday, January 4 and will close Thursday, January 14. In order to register, students must submit a registration form (available in the Columbia Main Office) and the class fee of $115 by check, bank check or money order made out to East Greenbush CSD.

Classes begin the week of February 1, 2021.

If you have questions or concerns, please email Mr. Tooker (the Driver Education Advisor) at TookerJe@egcsd.org.
