Columbia High School participated in the Great American Smokeout on Thursday to help inform students about the dangers of nicotine. The SADD Club (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and Student Assistance Counselor Alyssa Evans partnered with Capital District Tobacco Free Communities to host an interactive tabling event outside the school cafeteria throughout the day.
The East Greenbush Central School District Board of Education filled its vacancy at Wednesday evening’s public meeting when Jennifer O’Brien was officially sworn in. Ms. O’Brien will serve the remainder of Deanna Muth’s term, following her resignation last month.
