All district schools will dismiss 15 minutes early on Friday, November 7 for a state-mandated Emergency Go Home Drill. All students will be dismissed to the location parents have indicated on the Student Verification Form in case of an emergency closing.
The East Greenbush CSD Transportation Department will be hosting a School Bus Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 26 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the bus garage on Hays Road. Children (accompanied by their parents/guardians) are invited to dress in their Halloween costumes and trick or treat at the school buses. All are welcome!
Craig Lipps was appointed as the new Supervisor of Transportation by the Board of Education at its public meeting on Wednesday evening. Mr. Lipps is the current Transportation Director in the Guilderland Central School District and has more than 25 years of experience working in school transportation.
The East Greenbush Transportation Department is hosting a fundraiser to support the Ingram family, whose 2-year-old daughter Eva was recently diagnosed with leukemia. Zac and Rachel Ingram are both bus drivers for the school district and their son attends the pre-k program. You can support the Ingram family by purchasing a Support Team Eva shirt for $25 to help with medical costs.
