The Board of Education adopted the proposed school budget for 2019-20 at Wednesday’s public meeting in the Citizen Genet Elementary School auditorium. The proposed budget totals $95,925,684, an increase of 1.76% from last year.
The Board of Education will host the district’s third Budget Review Session on Wednesday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Genet Elementary School Auditorium. The meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the proposed school budget for 2019-20.
East Greenbush Central School District presented its preliminary school budget for 2019-20 at Wednesday evening’s Board of Education meeting in the Genet Elementary School Auditorium. The preliminary budget estimate is $98,642,402, an increase of $4,376,010 or 4.64%.
All members of the community are invited to learn more about the 2019-20 proposed school budget by attending one of the many budget meetings offered this spring.
East Greenbush Central School District residents passed a $94.3 million budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, as well as two bus purchase propositions that will replace 10 school buses and a proposition to create a new bus purchase reserve fund.
