In anticipation of extreme heat next week and its impact on health and safety in schools, the East Greenbush Central School District will have half days for grades PK-8 on Tuesday, June 18 and Thursday, June 20. Schools are closed on Wednesday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth and there is already a half day scheduled for Friday, June 21.
There will be a half day for all students in grades PK-8 on Friday, June 14.
Nearly 30 students from Howard L. Goff Middle School went on a fishing trip to the East Greenbush Town Park after school on Tuesday. Students stood on the banks of the pond as they cast their lines and were able to reel in some fish.
The Howard L. Goff Middle School Intro to Career and Technical Education program has started a new speaker series that will focus on career exploration.
The Goff Jazz Band participated in the Music in the Parks Competition on Friday in Massachusetts, placing first in their division and earning a Superior Rating. Congratulations!
