Purpose Statement

The purpose of the Calendar Committee is to assure compliance with Article II.G, School Calendar – Development of the Agreement between the Superintendent of Schools of the East Greenbush Central School District and the East Greenbush Teachers Association. The Agreement provision reads as follows: It is agreed that the Superintendent of Schools and three (3) representatives of the EGTA will consult with each other in the development of the school calendar. Such a calendar will be mutually developed by both parties and presented to the Board of Education for final approval.
